Methods

A listing of all Grow JavaScript SDK methods.

The following methods are available for use by Grow JavaScript developers. Click on a method to see an expanded description, syntax, return values, and examples on its use.

Note

The Grow JavaScript SDK exposes its methods on a growMe property of the window object. Therefore, all methods should begin with window.growMe. For more information, see Getting Started.

.addBookmark()

Creates a Grow bookmark for the current page for the current reader.

.getIsBookmarked()

Checks whether the current page is bookmarked by the current reader.

.on()

Creates a listener that responds to specific Grow events.

.openWidget()

Opens the Grow widget. Within the widget, readers can search the site, access their Grow bookmarks or account information, or share the current page.

.removeListener()

Removes a Grow event listener that was previously set using the on() method.

.triggerSubscribePopup()

Opens a Grow Subscribe Pop Up form.
